Le dimanche 18 juillet, nous sommes de nouveau en route pour l'Allemagne, à destination de Cologne cette fois, avec Tyna, Katia, Lahja, Soraya ...  Nous sommes accompagnés par  Marie, Xavier et Cassandra,et nous devons rejoindre Natacha et sa petite Cobby sur la route.

En cours de voyage, nous communiquons avec Natacha, qui a raté son réveil ...  Nous décidons donc de se rejoindre là-bas, car elle possède l'itinéraire et le plan de l'endroit.

Arrivée sans encombres au lieu de l'expo ...  Nous nous installons sous la tonnelle de notre amie Karin Gerhard, qui n'est pas encore arrivée ...  Cette tonnelle nous sera bien utile pour le reste de la journée ...

Nous préparons nos chiens et installons notre petite "boutique" ...

Natacha s'est complètement perdue dans les environs de Cologne et, après avoir cherché pendant une heure, elle trouve enfin l'expo, persuadée d'arriver en retard pour les jugements, mais heureusement ce n'est pas le cas ...  Avec 84 cockers anglais inscrits, cela prend du temps ...

La classe jeune et les autres spaniels étaient jugés par Mr Antonovic (CZ) tandis que les autres classes des Cockers anglais étaient jugées par Mr Peper (D).

Nous avons passé une super journée, dans une ambiance très chaleureuse et agréable, que même les violents orages n'ont pu entacher.  Et coup de chapeau aux organisateurs pour le catalogue, le déroulement des jugements et la remise des critiques à chaque chien.

Les résultats

Lahja en classe ouverte : 1er Exc - CAC.

Cassandra & Christyna en classe puppies : Toutes les deux "Très Prometteur".

Cobby en classe jeunes : 4 ème Excellent sur 10, une excellente performance quand on sait que Cobby et Natacha étaient déjà perturbées par leur retard du matin, et qu'elles l'ont été encore plus par l'arrivée en catastrophe de Natacha dans le ring (on ne s'était pas rendus compte que les jugements reprenaient et Cobby a donc effectué le premier tour dans le ring avec un autre handler).

Clara (appartenant à la famille Jörke) : 3ème Excellent dans la même classe que Cobby.

Anubis (appartenant à la famille Brackmann) : 1er Exc - CAC.

Cara's Bethany (fille de Xéryus appartenant à Mrs Borsdorf) : 3ème Excellent en classe intermédiaire.

Cara's Charmer (fils de Billy appartenant à Mrs Borsdorf) : Très Prometteur en classe puppies.

Notre vétéran Soraya, presque 10 ans : 1er Exc - CAC Vétéran - BOB Vétéran & Best In Show Vétéran.

Katia ("Be My Honey") : 1er Exc, CAC en classe intermédiaire + CAC du Club + Meilleure femelle !!!!!!

Nous avions également fait un groupe d'élevage avec Soraya, Cobby, Clara, Cassandra, Katia et Tyna mais il n'a pas été repris dans les 2 meileurs groupes ... Quoi qu'il en soit, c'était un super moment que de voir Soraya et ses petites et arrières-petites filles...

Ajoutons que le Meilleur Mâle, Best of Breed et Best In Show "Rattenfänger vom Schloss Hellenstein" (éleveur : Mrs Bollinger) appartenant à Mr et Mme Beyersdorf, que nous félicitons, est un petit-fils de notre Xéryus ...

Encore une merveilleuse journée et des souvenirs inoubliables ...

On Sunday July 18th, we are again on the road for Germany, to go to Koln show this time, with Tyna, Katia, Lahja, Soraya ...  We are also with Marie, Xavier and their Cassandra, and we should join Natacha and her little Cobby on our way.

So, when travelling, we are in contact with Natacha, who got up too late ...  So we decide that she'll join us there, as she has the way to go and the place map.

We arrive to the show place without any problem ... We are managing under the tent of our friend Karin Gerhard, who isn't there yet... This tent will be so useful for that day ...

We prepare our dogs and install our "small shop".

Natacha is completely lost in Koln area, she turns one hour in the town before finding the show place ...  She is sure that the judgement time is over, but fortunately, that's not the case ...  With 84 English cockers entered, it takes time ...

The young class and the other spaniels breeds were judged by Mr Antonovis (CZ) and the rest of the English Cockers classes were judged by Mr Peper (D).

We spent there a wonderful day, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  Even the strong rains et thunders didn't spoilt that day. And huge congrats to the organisers of the show for the nice catalogue, the course of the judgements and the critics given to each dog.

Lahja in Open Class: 1er Exc - CAC.

Cassandra & Christyna in puppies class : Very Promising.

Cobby in young class : 4 th Excellent on 10 dogs, a wonderful  performance when we know that Cobby and Natacha were already stressed by their late morning arrival, and they were more stressed because Natacha arrived late in the ring (we didn't remark that the judging were starting again and Cobby did her first walk in the ring with another handler).

Clara (owned by the Jörke Family) : 3rd Excellent in the same class than Cobby.

Anubis (owend by the Brackmann Family) : 1st Exc - CAC.

Cara's Bethany (Xéryus sister owned by Mrs Borsdorf) : 3rd Excellent intermediary class.

Cara's Charmer (Billy's son owned by Mrs Borsdorf) : Very Promising in Puppy Class.

Our veteran Soraya, almost 10 years old : 1st Exc - Veteran CAC - BOB Veteran & Best In Show Veteran.

Katia ("Be My Honey") : 1st Exc, CAC in Intermediary Class + Club CAC + Best Bitch !!!!!!

We did also a breeding group with Soraya, Cobby, Clara, Cassandra, Katia and Tyna but we weren't in the 2 best breeding groups ... But it was a wonderful moment to see Soraya with her grand and grand-grand daughters...

And the Best Male, Best Of Breed and Best In Show, "Rattenfänger vom Schloss Hellenstein" (breeder : Mrs Bollinger), owned by Mr & Mrs Beyersdorf (Congratulations to them), is a Xeryus grand-son.
